About Kalyn

A current paralegal and third-year law student, Kalyn will graduate from Lincoln Memorial University’s Duncan School of Law in May 2025. When she’s not drafting legal documents or buried in a casebook, you can find her on the pickle ball court, running by the Tennessee River, or perusing the farmer’s market. She is slated to take the Bar Exam in July 2025, with the hope of practicing and continuing to sharpen her legal advocacy skills at Strachn Law.

EXPERIENCE

Prior to law school, Kalyn worked for six years as an in-house graphic designer and marketing professional at a local software company. After stints of volunteering with the Knoxville Community Mediation Center and youth advocacy programs, a career in law piqued her interest. Throughout her time in law school, she has enjoyed participating in Moot Court and various law clerk positions which have entailed exposure to criminal law, landlord/tenant law, adoption law, and immigration law.
