About Corbin

Corbin Payne is the proud son of a U.S. Air Force family, which allowed him to live in six states plus the District of Columbia before settling down in East Tennessee. He is an avid reader, writer, and history buff; he has toured most major Civil War Battlefields east of the Mississippi and is now touring them by bicycle.

EXPERIENCE

Corbin graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Juris Doctor in 2015.  After a brief stint in Mergers & Acquisitions, he turned to trial advocacy in 2016.  He initially focused on criminal defense before expanding his practice to include family law, juvenile law, and civil litigation.  He has conducted two criminal jury trials and numerous bench trials.

Corbin’s practice focuses on estate planning, probate, business transactions, real estate, and business consulting. Grounded in years of courtroom experience, he brings a litigator’s perspective to every client matter. His background in litigation has sharpened his ability to anticipate disputes, assess risk, and develop strategies with long-term consequences in mind.
